笑顔

仏教では『和顔施』（わげんせ）という考え方があり、それは、（その時の当人の状態がどうであれ）笑顔をひとに見せること自体が、一種の布施を行っていることになり、笑顔を相手にさしあげることは、当人にも功徳があり、結局幸福をもたらす、と考える。
